INDUCTION TRAINING FOR PRIMARY AND UPPER-PRIMARY TEACHERS

Teachers are significant pillars of societal development. Department of Education UT Dadra and Nager Haveli and Daman and Diu appointed Primary and Upper Primary teachers under Samagra Shiksha. For this newly appointed teachers DIET, Daman organized Induction Training programme. The training was held at the District Institute of Education and Training, Daman, from 29^thto 31^st 2021 and 1^st January 2022.  The purpose of this tanning is to train all newly appointed primary and upper Primary teachers and make them understand about their role and responsibility about teaching profession. In this training 70 Primary and Upper primary teachers of U.T. of DNH&DD, attended the program regularly.

The inauguration of the programme was held on 30-12-2021 at District Institute of Education and Training, Daman. Mr. Paritosh Shukla, Assistant Director of Education, Mr. Indravadan Patel, Principal, DIET, and Shri. Rajendra Mohile, Education officer, light-up the lamp to begin the event. Mr. Indravadan V. Patel Principal DIET, addressed the participants and outlined their duty and responsibilities as teachers. Mr. Paritosh Shukla, Assistant Director, greeted everyone and guided them. The training program throws insightful lights on various areas such as Reflection of National Education policy 2020 on School Education, Learning Outcomes in Elementary & Lesson Planning, Pedagogy and Methodology in Teaching-Learning process, Best Practices from the school, ICT in Teaching- Learning process & Hands on Practice, Role & Responsibility of Primary Teacher, Role of RTE and School Assessment, School Management & Inclusive Education etc. Shri. Indravadan V. Patel, Principal, DIET, acted as the chief guest of valedictory program and delivered the valedictory address.
